Ashurbanipal is renowned for his Royal Library's clay tablets, discovered in 1849, containing a wealth of knowledge on medicine, astronomy, literature, prayers, and hymns to gods. Notably, these tablets housed the original Enuma Elish creation story and the narrative of Enki creating the first human, Adamu/Adapa.
